Our Beginning
Steve Hayward entered the mortgage industry as a loan officer in 1986. In May of 1989 Steve and his wife Jody opened Hayward Capital. During the early 1990's, both of their children joined the company after graduating from the University of California, Irvine. The family's philosophy was "stellar personalized service coupled with low rates and fees." By the mid 90's, the company had formed one home builder partnership and touted hundreds of loyal clients. After eighteen years, the family philosophy has evolved Hayward Capital into a significant Southern California home loan resource. Today, the South Orange County Loan Center services home builders throughout Southern and Central California. In addition to our many home builder partnerships, we amassed thousands of loyal repeat clients, many of which have been with us for more than a decade.
